They use a “Y” cable at the PSP to replace the connection to the TV. Then plug the TV back into one of the “Y” legs and plug an “analog/digital converter (like a Pinnacle Dazzle or Canopus ADVC55 or ADVC110) to the remaining RCA jack… and that analog/digital converter plugs into the computer and the video is imported/captured directly. There is no external “camera” – that’s why there is no shake.
simple way is to use a stand and adjust the camera angle, or use remote joy lite to record the psp screen onto the computer screen and then use hypercam to record the screen.
I think special games allow you to film what you are doing and I think there’s a plug on the psp that you plug into the USB port on your computer. If not, they use a tripod.
